દરિયાની છાંયડી માં માછલી નું ગામ....

વેરાવળના દરિયા કાંઠે રેતી સાથે રમતા રમતા  શૈશવ વીત્યું.

લીધું-દીધું , પામ્યા-ખોયું,રોયું-ધોયું ઘૂઘવતા આ દરિયાની ની સાખે....

ઓમ કારની ગુંજ ઉઠતી સોમનાથની ઝાલરમાંથી. 
દરિયો એના ચરણ પખાળે.    શ્રદ્ધાનું આ થાનક.

દરિયો મારા શ્વાસે શ્વાસે , દરિયો કવનના પ્રાસે.

દરિયો મારા હિસ્સે આખો ,દરિયો મારા ખીસ્સે.

દરિયાની રેતીમાં બાંધ્યા ઘરની સાખે લખી કવિતા.

મહાકાળની થપાટ સામે  પળમાટે  પણ  ટકીજવાનો અવસર આંજી આંખે ઉભો દરિયા સામે.
  'શૈશવ' ,  'સાહિલ'   જનક દવે સા સ્નેહી પામ્યો.    પામ્યો લાભશંકર દવે સરીખા ગઝલ વૃક્ષની છાયા.

 જન્મ સમયથી નાળની સાથે ચોટેલું એક ગામ બગસરા. 
સાત્તલીને કાંઠે ઉભું સમુદ્રીનું મંદિર.

રંગારાએ ઓઢણીઓની સાથે રંગ્યુ કવન કુંવારુ.

જિતુ  નો શૈશવ થી સથવારો.

જૂનાગઢની ભટ્ટ ખડકી , હોળી ચકલા વચ્ચે ઘૂમ્યો દાદીમાનો સાળુ ઝાલી

દાદાજીની લાકડી થઈને માંગનાથની કરી પ્રદક્ષિણા... જીવન શ્લોક શીખ્યો ત્યાં...

ગયો ગમ્મેત્યા .. કર્યું ગમ્મેતે... દરિયો મારી સાથ રહ્યો છે...

દરિયો મારો ભેરુ , મારો શિક્ષક. મારો તાત રહ્યો છે...
